What is the Throwdown Series?
The Throwdown Series is a community-driven functional fitness competition series, shaped for everyday athletes, from first timers to seasoned competitors and CrossFit‑style athletes. Central competitions across Penticton, Richmond, and Calgary welcome all Functional Fitness fans, including CrossFit‑style athletes seeking high‑energy challenges.

INTERMEDIATE DIVISION

Our most popular division. For athletes who train consistently and want a real challenge — balanced workouts that test fitness without requiring elite-level skills.
RX DIVISION
Individual & Trios
For the seasoned competitors. Expect heavier weights, higher skill movements, and tough tests that separate the best from the rest.
MASTERS RECREATION (40-49, 50+)
For our Masters athletes who love to compete, move well, and have fun. A supportive division with the same Throwdown energy — just smarter pacing.
MASTERS COMPETITIVE

Built for experienced Masters who still like to push the limits. Workouts mirror Intermediate or RX standards with age-appropriate adjustments.
TEEN RECREATION
(13-17)
For young athletes getting their first taste of competition. Encouraging, inclusive, and a great way to learn the ropes.
